WOW! CTD Exhaust can scorch grass!
Parked my 2016 CTD on some short grass for about 15 minutes and let it idle. When I pulled away, the grass was scorched and later died. That exhaust gives off some heat!

I scorched a bush to the point that it was smoking when I first purchased my 08 Duramax. Sitting at lunch with the truck running and A/C on and apparently in regen mode. Happen to look in side view mirror and I saw smoke from behind the truck. Poor bush died and was never replaced so I park my truck there if I take it work. It's amazing how hot the exhaust can get.
