WOW! CTD Exhaust can scorch grass!
Parked my 2016 CTD on some short grass for about 15 minutes and let it idle. When I pulled away, the grass was scorched and later died. That exhaust gives off some heat!

Not reading through all of the posts, but I'm thinking he is referring to the grass under the truck not the grass near the exhaust pipe Troy.
But talking about fords "fresh air inlets to cool the outgoing exhaust" they seem to be working out well for them! :B
