Mine is used only as a school bus in the mornings so I plug mine up for the faster heat alone. It was 15 here the other morning. With that and starting it with the EB on it's blowing hot air in 10 mins.

Also, a FYI to guys with newer Rams, the cord may not be present but Cummins puts the block heater on all of them. You can get the cord on Amazon and run it yourself.
