XM Satellite Radio Cutting in and Out
I've Googled this issue and there doesn't seem to be a consensus on the problem or the solution. Quite a few months back... our XM Radio started cutting in and out. Not often, just a few station...

10 days into the free trial the radio (1-Dec) the radio stopped receiving anything but "Channel 1" and that to receive anything else I need to active the radio.
I try to log into the account, and they claim that I don't have the right password. So I have them send an e-mail to reset the password and they claim there is no account at the address they are sending the promotional ads to.
the loss of account and only channel 1 has been a perenial problem for us. seems like every few months that happens on the radio, weather and traffic from XM. Then I have to call them, usually on the road, and they need to download new access to the vehicle, which if you are in an area that cuts in and out for service can take hours before you get service back.
