- My previous employer had a few people above me that turned in to the "grammar police" that started to nit-pick every aspect of my work just so they could come up with a reason to get rid of me. They were actually "grading" my work as if I was a kid in school.

Then these smart axx smart phones type in what they thins you want, add in misspelled typos to the dictionary and there ya go. Have to spell check the spell check then someone nit picks. Come on, really? Of course, none of the "correctors" have ever misspelled ANYTHING with or without help. Must be the heat or......

We have had some good people that have made real contributions to the forum quit posting after being embarressed...
If a kind person would feel the need to correct someone they'ed send a PM....
... a jerk would want to prove they are superior by calling someone out in public... someone they don't know is even better...
I always take up for the victim...
BTW... I don't think that I've ever heard a redneck correct a strangers verbal mistake... in print either
My issue is my iPad corrects everything for me and winds up saying things I didn't mean to say! It may think it's smarter than me but I know better (I think)! - sleepyExplorer
