A couple of years ago I went to OR to visit my daughter, grandkids and sister and then went down the coast, back up to Lake Tahoe and then headed for Bodie.
I spent the night in a FS campground. Googles Bodie when I got up to make sure I was headed in the right direction and it was CLOSED!!! :E :E :M
It was closed for an undetermined amount of time due to small earthquakes along the CA/NV boarder. :(
So I headed for home and haven't been back but plan to this spring.
