I'm not sure if it's the perfect or right way but as a rule we always level side to side, then front to back. Lower all the stab jacks, then let the slide out. Depending on how big the slide is, it will have an impact on the TT tilting a little. On our last TT we always made the slide side slightly higher to compensate for the weight hanging out. It was 12'x3' with a sofa and recliners in it, so it was fairly heavy. On our 5th wheel it has a shorter slide with only a small pantry and free standing dinette. Also with the 5'er the front jacks are more rearward so it doesn't allow much lean from the slide. In that sense we don't compensate at all for it.
