Hey Guys!! I know I've been MIA since August.... Sorry!!! I've been reading the last few months of posts. Looks like everyone is doing great work! Garry I'll get the canoe off the top of mine and take some pics of the rack if you're still interested. It was on it when I bought it. The kid I got it from was pretty handy and the rack on mine is made from re-used bus railing he salvaged from the City of Steamboat, CO. :) It is STURDY and a huge help hauling stuff.
Also, someone was talking about putting the water tank on the roof. Did you try it? I've been thinking of doing the same thing and then having gravity feed, but I think think I'd want a pump too. They make roof fresh water tanks for living quarters horse trailers. They also make a nifty corner one if anyone has a use for it. Here's a link. https://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html?pgguid=810aa962-b05b-407f-be9d-cb55471ef93a
Other news from Wyoming.....I bought an Airstream. Well....actually Hubby bought an Airstream. It was a screaming deal (we bought it for about 1/3 of what it's worth). It's a 2005 28ft International in great shape. A monster in my opinion. But since I seem to breed Giants (Hubby is 6'4", 15 year old son is 6'5" and 13 year old is well on his way) the bigger camper has it's advantages. I'm still keeping The Goat (my pet name for the '69 Avion C11)!!!! It's MINE!! All MINE!!! :) And still making slow stead progress. I promise more pics soon.
I'm going to try to stay in better touch with you guys! I still think that since Avion was the brainchild of 2 brothers camping in Yellowstone at Fishing Bridge, we should do a TC gathering there SOON!!!
