Forum Discussion
A lot of TCers have gone to Instagram to do their posting, I'm there.

ya instagram, youtube and such all suck, I guet the alure of social media, I am on a bunch of platforms, but they are not a comunity like we had going here. they are good for entertainment but there is no discussion about if the info your getting is right, wrong, or in between thats why I prefer the forums for most stuff, the active discussion, and bringing forth new information when it becomes available. facebook groups just totaly suck, just toxic enviorments.
the biggest thing this forum needs is new, and old people posting new topics and encouraging that discussion again.

RV.net used to be a great site for TCers, but the powers that be decided to "make" it better. The old website was the better one, and so much was lost during the transformation to this new website. I thoroughly enjoyed our fellow TCers' postings about their wide range of travels. A few of the old TCTRs still connect at this link, but not many: https://www.coastresorts.com/boards/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/[########]/srt/pa/pging/1/page/1.cfm I went way back under the old forum and managed to download some of my old TCTR through the above link.

I agree with your comparison between good old quality forums versus social media. I've left a few forums over the years in search of other forums that are still well visited and have quality information.

yup, facebook groups are just a joke, a lot of downright dangerous advice given in them, because some one read an advertisment some here some time. as far as truck campers go, I still haven't found one as good as this one, even in its diminished state.
