Installed a Shelf/Storage system in the F-550

I bought 10 2x3s, a sheet of 5/8 ACX, some brackets, screws and fabricated a shelving/storage system in  the F-550 back seat area. We have Zero use for the back seat, but we do have a big need for additional storage capacity. The lowest level on the floor, is a large open area for tools and supplies, above that the area is tailored to cat comfort for Archie and Poppie. The lower area can be accessed through a center lift out panel. I am going to install some lighting so we can see down there, especially at night.  I installed 1-1/2" Pink Foam Board Insulation on the back wall. That is a large area when exposed to hot or cold would be a big surface for heat transfer, The insulation fits nice and flush to the back wall. I used a couple layers of Gorilla duct tape to attach and seal at the top where it meets the sheet metal. This setup is improved over the first setup I did in the F-250. Amazing what can be learned from experience. Now the problem is Safelite was supposed to install a new rear sliding window and they didn't order the gasket for the window, thinking they could reuse the existing gasket. I had to send pictures to the manager of the F-250 slider which they installed years ago what the gasket looks like and how it won't fit the aluminum window frame. So now they want me to go their shop in a week to have it installed there. I also specified to get a Carlite brand window instead of the thing they brought. The cats were so looking forward to getting the new window but now they're bummed having to wait another week which in cat time is a month. I'll add to the post when things are totally finished.

Largely finished at this stage. The two carriers go on the left and in front will be the litter box, center is food and water. It attaches very solidly using the seat mount holes on either side and a rear post screwed to the sheet metal. The dimensions of the F-550 and F-250 are different enough that F-250 one couldn't be swapped in.

You can see the anticipation.
