All the wood you can burn? That sounds like a deal once you get past the initial cheapskate squeaky wallet reflex. Beautiful up there when I was a young lad myself going to Jasper to ski on the train twice. Enjoyed a 16 hour derailment delay both times. Great skiing.
ya, the wife always complained about the fire permit, then I asked here how many bags of wood do we buy in a provincial park when we camp... she now agrees its a good deal. I have one of those collapsible wagons from Costco I take with the caper and I think I went and got three wagon loads of wood.
a train to jasper? where did it originate, buts have been the old via rail days. I took a train across Canada, well from Halifax to Edmonton and back when I was a young navy guy fresh out of basic training, told us we had 10 days before our next course started and that short of booking on the plane was unaffordable, so train it was.. was home in Edmonton for a long weekend but it is a trip I am glad I did.
