Thanks for the replies, good discussion.  I think I'll keep looking for a newer truck over the winter.  If I can't find one that appeals to me I put a HD sway bar on the old rig in the spring.  

I did test drive a 22 F-350 dually with 7.3 but it had a few problems I didn't want to deal with.
