The forum is relevant if and whenever you use it. Sadly, the forum is a shadow of it's former self. The well known names and posters are mostly gone. There isn't participation like there used to be. It's at the point of why bother. Diehards are still here. Stick it out, see what happens. RV.NET was the flagship truck camper forum for years.

you know even with the issues, I still haven't found one with half as much knowage or anything. I thought I found one and a few members are on it but it gets just as few posts as there are hear and it doesnt have the previous knowlage to support it.

The biggest problem with forums is there are a lot of people asking questions, but few giving correct and proper answers. Soon as someone gets their answer, they're gone leaving no detail of how the answer worked or if they figured something else. There is a lot of competition from other web entities. It's a wait and see for how things evolve.
