- portscannerExplorerFixed the tv antenna/cable wiring. Looks like they used the cheapest wire and the cheapest ends possible. They had no idea how to properly terminate the ends. Looks like they pushed the ends AT the wire, wrapped tape around it, called it finished.
I replaced several spans of wire with the "good stuff" and properly terminated then ends.
(Working in the CATV business ensured I had the proper tools and supplies) - dmaxpullerExplorerGot it ready for the summer. All waxed up. 303 on everything that needed it. Truck is all ready. Put some beer in the frig just to make sure it still worked! And am sticking to that story.

Got about 2/3s of the way through building the new bed frame for the cabover.
Will have a post with them here in the next day or so, wanted to put it all together in one entry :). - Buzzcut1Nomad IIMy single LED fixtures arrived and were installed this afternoon. I think it took me 15 minutes to do both now that I know what I'm doing. I'm happy enough with the lights that I will get a few more and lose the halogen lamps over the pillows.

removed all compartment locks, new ones tomorrow.
Since security doesn't seem to be important, why install the new locks? :) After all, all of your compartment locks are unlocked now. Sorry, I couldn't resist it. ;)
What kind of locks are you going with? - joe123Explorerremoved all compartment locks, new ones tomorrow.
- JoeChiOhkiExplorer IIGot about 2/3s of the way through building the new bed frame for the cabover.
- sasquatchgeoffExplorer III changed every 1156/1157 bulb in the rig to el-cheapo WalMart BriteNWay LEDs. Very pleased with the results - took the opportunity to clean the exterior patio covers and I must say I am happy with the change in lighting.
Also changed the Delta single-handled faucet cup-seals and springs in the galley sink. No more leaky. I think the seals that were in there were original - they were so hard they nearly crumbled between my fingers. - Buzzcut1Nomad IIReplaced the two double surface mount incandescent fixtures with Thin-lite LED ones (old fixtures looked like crud, all yellowed) They put out such better light. The single plate fixtures will get replaced when that order shows up on Friday.
look how dim the old single plate fixture over the bed is by comparison
