Would love your help - ISO Fleetwood Angler manual

Hello, all - I'm fresh out of graduate school and brand new to camper ownership, setting up a 2000 Fleetwood Angler as my mobile mini-home.

It came without any kind of owner manuals or guides and I am figuring out all the systems and specs on my own. Any one able to help me track down a copy of the paperwork? I suspect even a manual for a similar Fleetwood (a 2002 Angler or possibly even an Elkhorn) could be helpful in sorting out what's what and how to use it.

Also, any tips on a solar set-up and installing air conditioner alternatives (swamp coolers? roof-mounted fans?) for a Fleetwood are quite welcome.

Many thanks!

Hello, where did you locate the Fleetwood angler manual?? Do you still have it?

  • To help in your search- the manual covers all modles (one size fits all) it would not be Angler specific.
I could scan mine, an '01, maybe some minor differances, but again the Fleetwood truck camper manuals are very generic. Its just turning the pages and let the machine copy. Scan to a PDF file- maybe tonight if that would help.
  • Thanks for all the great suggestions! Still no luck locating the actual Angler manual so if anyone else has a lead, please let me know!

    Warmly,

  • some guys scanned and sent their angler manual out in this thread. you could try to PM one of them and see if they're still active.

As to the manual- pretty much useless as far as actually explaining stuff, how to operate or location etc.

On fans a simple replace of roof vent with Fan-tastic fan, Maxxair would be the most effective for moving air. Not inexpensive but should find for under 150 -definitely want revers-able. Possible retro fit kit under 70 but fit to be determined.
    Just some starting options Amazon

Not sure on swamp cooler- but if you have AC power a wall/window mount A/C on back wall could be done. Many have. Other than install they can be had for cheap.
