Why not get a (for lack of better term) a wash tub and do his baths out in the fenced yard. That way he can shake off the water all he wants. The rinse process probably wouldn't be as convenient as it was but you can still do it without much trouble. Of course, it's getting a bit far into the Fall/Winter mode and it might not be practical for long but there's always the garage! :B
