2020 Travel Plans
Well, I am ready as is most of us to get back out "on the road again" (Que Willy Nelson here).
We bought a puppy and my wife and I were going to fly out and pick her up and fly back. This was non-stop flights Orlando to Salt Lake City.
Last, Wednesday evening, just 6 days prior to our departure, Delta Airlines informed us our flight was cancelled and they cannot re-route and credited us on the fare. After discussions with each other - we decided that a trip of this magnitude (Tampa Fl to Salt Lake City UT) is why we bought our new RV last July.
So we are leaving this morning (Friday Jun 12) to drive out and pick her up.
We have been planning a trip to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone for about a year and have about 12 other people meeting us. Our oldest Grand son is traveling with us in the RV. We will depart and spend time in Minnesota to visit my daughter and her family.
We plan to depart July 15 for about 52 days on the road.
During the last week of September I have to be in Yuma AZ for about 7 weeks (100% job related) and I take my RV out for that (Tampa to Yuma AZ)
Looks like my travel year is fairly well planned out!
