Most of the change is in the displays and gift sales.
Between Wells and Barkerville there is a large working mine.
All blocked off a secured - they do not want visitors, so no idea how much gold they are getting. On the highway in there's some roads with signs saying this mine or that mine. Someone is mining and hopefully finding gold.
