Shopping malls( dinosaurs ) and outlet stores have big empty lots and welcome signs. We are fans of midwest small town off season sportsfields. Traveling on weekends, find a faith of your choice lot, spend the night and share in faith services.

There's a rest area 177 miles from Pequannock County on I-80 in Loganton, PA 17747. From what I see PA allows overnight parking in their rest stops.

There's a Flying J at exit 173 that has RV parking. Plus, you have a Denny's for breakfast.

rt44 and rt 76 cracker barrel not far from streetsboro , about 40miles.

Many churches, especially in smaller communities are in residential areas. You may very well get a midnight visit from local law enforcement when the neighbors call about a suspicious vehicle parked in their neighborhood. To many a lone RV in a deserted parking lot is not a friendly traveler but instead is Buffalo Bob looking for the next tenant for his basement well.

We've also seen a number of instances where churches are putting chains across the entrances to their parking lots except on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings - especially in the smaller communities and along US highways.
