AL CAN Update
Just and update on what we have encountered so far. Left north Idaho May 5-20, Cranbrook, Banf, Jasper, Prince George, Chetwyin, Dawson Creek, Bucking Horse, Tetsa, (gotta have one of those rolls) Liard hot springs for a soak, we are now stopped at little nugget just past Watson Lake.
Fuel Diesel, $1.06 to $1.15 ltr. avoid the really remote fuel spots as it is much higher
Provin. Nat. and private parks have all had plenty of room. Varies from no hookups to full service with 30 amp.
Road are good but inconsistent.
Cruising fine, then without warning the big bumps come.
If you see the "bad road sign" slow down.
Worst so far is the Icefield Parkway between Banf and Jasper
Construction in the 20 mi before Tetsa is really heavy as their redoing the whole road. Gravel wet dirty and smooth, but slow.
Gravel road starts again about 20mi south east of Watson Lake rough and slow.
So far no real problems, lost a driving light on the poor toad along with a window chip.
Critters everywhere so be careful
Will update again soon.
