I have a 100 gallon aux. fuel tank in the bed of my truck. So I can carry 135 gallons total. When I cross the border into Canada will I be charged any taxes on the fuel in the aux tank? I have heard that I might, but what about a MH which can carry a lot more in their dual tanks.
My old Dodge has the same fuel capacity, crossed into Canada at Roosvile and near Carcross "up from Sgagway" the pasgt couple of weeks and they never asked about the fuel . We were able to fill up in Grande Prarie , Alberta , and make it all the way to Tok, Alaska via Sgagway and Dawson City "1800 miles" without being raped by having to buy fuel along the Alkan highway.
