Anyone In Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) This Weekend ?

Friends and I will arrive Tues. 5/26. Hoping the holiday crowd has just left. We always stay at the Reef.

OMG it has been so freakin windy!!!
On the way here 30+ mph head wind blowing north. Crazy wind on the beach.

Wake up this morning, the stupid wind is blowing south!!! LOL, could have used that on the way here for gas mileage.

Yeah it's windy across Sonora and Baja North as a cold front moves through, I am done with it, trying to work outside and having the wind blow everything around is annoying at best. We expect about 40 000 people to come to town this weekend from the North, I hope the weekend is nice for them. As it relates to this forum no, they are not staying in RVs but rather in hotels and condos which I have heard are 100% rented out this week.

Yeah, my dad has a condo at Las Palomas. It's real nice but always rented out.

He was here last week and it was also so windy that he actually left early since you cant even hang on the beach when the wind is 30 mph.

It is a little better now and supposed to be good from tomorrow on.

The town is full and the weather is super nice today so it will be a great weekend in our little piece of paradise
