And here I thought it was fair to pay five dollars for 13 miles of travel from San Ysidro to the Airport Red Trolley junction downtown San Diego including the transfer to a shuttle bus to the front door of the airport.
The mandatory taxi fee from the Tijuana airport THREE KILOMETERS to the US Consulate cost me ten dollars a month ago. wanna know the distance is in feet or yards? No peatones (pedestrians) SEVENTEEN lanes of traffic to cross and high fences. It's a good idea always to ask because the posted rates inside the taxi for a second passenger added seven dollars to the ride. The fare had to be pre-paid at a kiosk inside the airport. A return ride was $3.30 US
