Baja California Sur Is Back On it's Feet

Bahia Asuncion, Sta Rosalia, Bahia Concepcion, Mulege, Loreto, La Paz, Todos Santos, Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo, are all up and running. Stores are stocked, power and water are on and things are not patchwork cobbled together. Beaches have been cleaned, bars and restaurants opened and folks headed down will have a good time.

Please think about leaving extra nice tips to workers. Your money will go a long way to patch household roofs, destroyed furniture etc.
  • Many things are up and running already in Cab, La Paz and other parts. The poor areas suffer the most but the resorts are all about not missing a season, get down here and play. It is going to be a great year in Southern Baja.
  • We went to PV 2 weeks after hurricane Kenna and they were working 24/7 putting it back together. We weren't inconvenienced in any way. No updates on the national news, of course ! RYV
  • Los Angeles Times reported yesterday that things were up and running, and included photos. No, they are no where near 100% up, but a number of the resorts are open and need guests. The airport is up and running, too.
If you travel much in Mexico, you know how quickly things can be repaired. A bridge is lost on a highway? You can bet that there will be a way over the water, or around the situation VERY quickly!
What can we do? Go there and spend money!!!
  • It can't be true... according to ALL the news reports , Cabo San Lucas was DEMOLISHED... Here is just 1 link - NBC News

Even know it was a month ago ,I still find it hard to believe that they are at 100%// or even close
  • Doubtful this is even 70% true, according to Mexico news sources, but whatever. I applaud you for promoting Mexico tourism.
