- riven1950Explorerthanks folks, that was what i was thinking but wanted to confirm with some folks who had been there done that. we came down 23/441 to franklin and it was not bad so will return that way
- HandbasketExplorerUS 19 Cherokee to Maggie is moderately challenging even for me & the 19' Tiger. I've lived in the WNC mountains my whole adult life, and the Tiger is 9200 lbs with an 8.1 & Allison. I've done it a few times both ways, but generally avoid it.
Jim, "Instant human, just add coffee!" - padredwNomadI, too, would take the Dillsboro-Sylva route. We have done that many times. We always try to stop in Dillsboro for a meal at the Jarrod House. This whole area is one of our favorite destinations.
- Johno02Explorer19 is not friendly! period!!
- epusherExplorerYes to 23/441. Did it last year and its a good easy pull. 19 will work everything too hard.
- HorsedocExplorer II19 is not that 'friendly' RV wise. I might take the Sylva route over to Waynesville and then 40 east.
