We are pulling a 38 ft Carriage fifth wheel and were planning to take Hwy 285 from Carlsbad to I-10 into San Antonio. Does anyone have any current information on the condition of Hwy 285 southbound? ...

Take 62/180 East to Anson and then south on 277. 25 miles to I 20 if you want to go east on it. When you get to Anson go 5 blocks north and check out the courthouse in the middle of the road.
