Best route McAlestar to Crystal Beach, TX
Traveling from McAlestar OK to Crystal Beach TX. Google suggests a route using US271. Anybody traveled this before? Thanks in advance. Pigdoc

I am very familiar with the portion of US 271 from Paris, TX to Kilgore,TX where you would join US 259. Good two lane road expect for places in East Texas where it is a divided highway. No problem.
You would take US 69 at Lufkin, TX. Then TX 326 at Kountze. I would far rather take this route than go through Dallas/Fort Worth.
