You have a 42' DP with a lot of horsepower...you'll definitely have no problems any way you go. They are not big mountains with steep drop-offs. :) We've done Nevada Hwy 50 all the way across and have also done Hwy 395, both multiple times. If you're trying to get to Canyonville, Oregon and then over to the coast, get to CA 395 (& Nevada Hwy 50 is a good way to get there) to Oregon 140 at Lakeview over to Klamath Falls, Oregon and to I-5 and then a little north on I-5 to 42 to the coast. We've been on all of them. The only caution is not to let your fuel get low crossing Nevada. Get it when you see it. It's a beautiful drive. Go for it!
