Camping in the Crowsnest Pass

Have two options........unless someone has another suggestion.
One is the Lost Lemon Campground....the other...the Crowsnest Campground. Any one been to any of these and what have your experiences been?

  • We stayed in Lost Lemon last summer on our way back home from Alberta. It is very nice and well kept, however the sites are quite small and it is very noisy there due to the trains. I would consider it OK for a night or two but wouldn't consider it a great option for longer term.
  • @Darryl&Rita.........Greenmountain is a park not a campground. FYI
  • Coming from Lethbridge and heading to Cranbrook.
  • Lots of options but it depends which way you are coming from, heading to, and what you are looking for. Let us know and I'd be happy to help.
  • Hi SWD,

There is a great community campground at Sparwood. I've enjoyed it 3 times.

I enjoyed staying at Lundbreck Falls (no cell phone service) There are upper and lower campgrounds.

There is a campground on the north side of the road after Frank's Slide. It looked to be community run, but is nothing special.

Fernie has a BC Provincial park campground. No services at sites.

Be sure to fill up just before the BC border. There is an environmental charge on all fuel in BC (I think 15 cents per liter).
