Also, there is another thread running for those who travel through Canada to Alaska. Others have made their choice of suggestions in it.
Re. NB, remember Acadian Historical Village (living history) and the Covered Bridge at Hartland - it's the longest covered bridge in the world.
& if you should think about PEI the Confederation Bridge is 9 miles/13 km across the Northumberland Strait and a tourism site in it's own right.
