CO 149 traffic restricted

BTW, Wolf Creek pass reopened this a.m. to traffic, subject to the whims of the fire.
The road is restricted due to the nearby West Fork Fire. Hwy 149 is now open between South Fork - Creede with pilot car operations escorting traffic through the area between 7AM - 11PM daily. Southbound traffic is escorted at the top of each hour while northbound traffic is escorted at the bottom of each hour. During overnight hours, 11PM-7AM, motorists must stop at safety check points at either end but are otherwise free to travel the highway without escort. Motorists should expect delays. Latest fire information: West Fork Fire. Restriction began June 29th, 2013 at 9:39am.
