Colorado Springs to Gunnison - how are the passes

In Colorado Springs - headed for Oregon - trying to decide which route to take tomorrow with changing weather this weekend. How are the roads and passes going over to Gunnison? Trying to decide...

I just came over Monarch pass today 6 May 2015 about 2 PM.

The road was wet but no snow or ice on the road.

I would wait until mid day to cross the pass so there will be no danger of black ice.

It was about 40 degrees F when I crossed at 2 PM.

No problem with any of US 50 the rest of the way into Montrose.
