FL hwy 267

Anyone traveled this road south of Tallahassee? Is it RV friendly? My concern is low hanging trees. Thanks
  • We are on 267 with our 13' 5ver almost every other month when we visit parents who live on the hiway Its a great road for RV's.We run it at the posted speed limit- usually 55. The trees and ROW are cleared well back from the paved roadway. Absolutely no problem-- until you get off the highway onto a smaller less developed side road--- then you need to keep your eye's open and looking upwards
  • Thanks again guys! Headed to Pensacola next week on vacation and looking for the best route without taking the interstates
  • No problem X2. We were just on it in May. That is the way we routinely go to get to Ft. Walton Beach area.

OK, I remember it now. No problem I have used it.
  • Is this the road from I-10 down to SR 20? If so it is a good road.
  • As I recall, its a pretty decent road through mostly pine forest.
