From Pahrump, NV to S. Lake Tahoe, CA

Take !-15 south to Hwy 40 then west to Hwy 395 and then north to Carson City, head west, it will drop you in at South Lake Tahoe. Great road and scenic. Out of Carson City you will have a hill to climb for a few miles but not a
problem.

Both routes are fine, but 395 is loved by many RVers, including me!

Also a major hill north of Bishop, CA. but Kingsbury Grade from Gardnerville to South Lake Tahoe is seriously major climb. No matter where you come from you WILL have a major hill to climb getting to So Lake Tahoe. 395 to 88 to 89 to 50 is the easiest climb but longer. Use to live there!
