good morning..
i am looking for a route to potato patch rec area,az from gallup ,nm in oct of this year.i have been informed that going through jerome,az on 89a is not advisable,so i am looking for an alternative route.
i an driving a 2018 ram 2500 diesel with a 30 foot 5th wheel.

AZ-89A has two definitely NO sections for almost all RVs

The section through Jerome is one.

The other is the descent into / climb up from the valley north of Sedona headed toward Flagstaff.
