I've spent a lot of time in that area over the years. Ain't a whole lot of "good" places. I'm sure there are one or two hidden gems, but we've never been able to find them. The only really good places in that part of the state that I know of are in Mineral Point (Brewery Creek Brewpub, Red Rooster Cafe), but that's at least 45 minutes east of where you are going to be.
There are a couple of decent places (can't recall the names) across the river from Prairie du Chien, in McGregor, IA, which is literally 10 minutes south of Marquette, IA. McGregor is a pretty neat little town too.
