Going to al from cape without going near NYC
We were planning at rip mid sep from Atlanta to Montreal and then to cape cod and back to Alabama. We want to miss major cities, and bridges and tunnels. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

From Atlanta, I-75 thru Chattanooga to I-40 through Knoxville to I-81 up to Scranton PA and pick up I-84. The Newburgh NY KOA is nice. Then I-87 north to Montreal. I-89 back to Cape Cod. Leaving Cape Cod, I would go back to I-84 and go back same way except take US431 south at Gadsden.
If you don't already have toll transponder, the best place in my opinion is to get one from the State of Illinois. iPass. We have a Class A and got 2 transponders so we wouldn't have to worry about transferring from RV to toad every time. Worked on all NE state toll systems. You can order online and they will ship you the transponders.
