- MerrykaliaExplorerYes, we pull our 35' 5'er that way all the time. It is a two lane road with curves, but it is very user friendly. The Bush Bean tractor trailers use it all the time. You will meet lots of TTs, 5'ers coming to and fro on this road.
NOTE: After you pass the Bush Bean plant, be sure and follow 411/441, which heads off to the left. Don't go straight, which is Rt 92. NOTE:
When you get to Sevierville, I think it is traffic light #17.3, (there is a KFC) the road is Veterans Memorial Hwy, turn left. This will eventually turn into Dollywood Parkway. It will bring you out at traffic light #8 in Pigeon Forge. According to where you are staying, this will eliminate lots and lots of traffic for you. If you are on the Sevierville end, then don't use this. - MeloyeloCJ7ExplorerGood deal, thanks for the info. We're staying at Pine Mountain so the route you suggested will probably work out just right. Thanks again.
- TPUCExplorerUs too driving over tommorrow
- MerrykaliaExplorerThat's where we always stay and it's a great way to get there. Go to the end of Veterans Memorial (Dollywood Parkway). At the light, turn right and then get into the left hand lane. Go up two lights to traffic light #6 and take a left on Pine Mountain Rd. You are there.
- RoyBExplorer IIPine Mountain a good spot - You sure can find a bunch of trail street roads south of there winding around the hills tho...
I was always looking for a easy way to get to the road going to the Townsend side - Never found one to pull a bigger trailer on hehe...
Roy Ken - MeloyeloCJ7ExplorerLooking forward to trying out Pine Mountain. Looks like an awesome rv park. Haven't been to the are in probably 10 years. I'd say the traffic hasn't improved since last time there. Can't wait to get up there. Thanks for all the input. Happy New Year!
