Making our way south from Oregon at the end of October and will be visiting the Grand Canyon. We will be headed to Tusayan from Cameron on 64 and will be pulling a 30 foot travel trailer. Will this road (hwy 64) accomodate larger RVs? Wanted to get to Grand Canyon camper village. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

I too always stop at Cameron. The Navajo Taco is superb. But mainly I enjoy chatting with the Navajo lady who is usually there working on a large rug on a massive loom. Her skills are amazing, and all the planning is in her head.

I've bought a couple of smaller rugs there -- wish I could afford the big room-sized ones!

Oh, and SR64 to Tusayan is just fine for any RV.

Agreed... Hwy 64 is a very good, scenic drive. We've done it with our 40' motorhome.

The Cameron Trading Post does have excellent food, especially the Navajo tacos. It also has a high quality gift shop, unlike some of the junk gift shops you find. It's on the right side of the highway.

Its a very good 2 lane road, no problem with your length.
The Cameron trading post has great food.
The little Colorado river gorge is a worthwhile stop with plenty of room for large rigs.
Enjoy the canyon.
