Hwy US 395

Thanks for all the good answers! I am not really worried about steep grades, but it is nice to know ahead of time that there is no surprises. I had not ever heard much about rt 395, but we will give it a try this year on our way home. We might just carry on up the 395 into Oregon and skip the coastal trip and do it next year. If not the 299 looks the best way.
