Hyder Bears
Anyone been bear watching in Hyder this fall. We are heading down The Cassiar Highway in a couple of days and thinking about running over to Hyder if the bears are at a Fish Creek.

- Ditto on Soos post, we had the same experience but saw 1 grizzly in Hyder mid afternoon.
- we were just there a couple of days ago. Saw one black bear, one big grizzly. ranger said 7:30-8:30 pm is the best time, but the bears are pretty full. dead salmon everywhere.
what was BETTER was Hanna creek., just south on the Cassier. apparently 2 young grizzlies hang out there regularly. We watched them fish for salmon for about 15 minutes.
