I 40 in Oklahoma

Will be traveling thru Oklahoma in a few weeks and wondering about the surface condition of I-40 from New Mexico line to Oklahoma City.Haven't been thru OK for a few years and my memory is potholes and worse. Thanks for any info.

Thanks for the replies. It was 5-6 years ago when I went thru and it was a nightmare, thought I'd lose everything except the trailer hitch.

The hwy itself is in pretty good shape but the bridges are terrible. You will be cruising along just fine then along comes a bridge with lots of potholes so just be prepared.

Much much better than 5 years ago, especially around OKC.

We traveled it a couple of weeks ago, no problems.

It's not the smoothest highway, but we were over it two weeks ago and its not too bad.
