I-59 Birmingham to Tennessee
Several years ago we took I-59 from Chattanooga south to I-20. The road was so rough we left the hiway and took secondary roads on to Birmingham. Is I-59 still terrible or has it been repaired? Thanks...

Thank you for your info, we are going up to Maine next spring from Houston and taking I-59 from Birmingham to Chattanooga would be a nice change from our usual route of I-40 all the way from AR to VA. Thanks again!
