Iceberg Alley!

According to the Canadian Ice Service, this year is supposed to be a banner year for icebergs. Here's a pic of the 1st berg spotted off the northeast Avalon peninsula (admittedly small, but VERY close to shore).... supposed to be LOTS more this year, (and bigger) especially from St. Anthony to Twillingate.

It's kind of ironic that we spend all winter complaining about all the ice & snow outside our front doors and then we spend vacations seeking out huge chunks of ice! :B
