Insurance warning

Most Mexican insurance companies cap US labor rates at $75 an hour or even $38 a hour. While this may cover repairs in Mexico, if you damage your RV, you may have to take it to the US to get it fixed. Repairs on RV's can require skills beyond a normal vehicle bodyman. RV repair rates in the US are about $125 an hour.

Some research reveals that only 2 companies I can find have no ceiling on labor rates. They are Qualitus & HDI Seguros. If anbody knows of others, let us know. I found out about this when an acquaintence had an accident with his trailer and ran into the $75 an hour limitation. I will be ensuring my insurance next year will be either with Lewis & Lewis(Qualitus) or Mexadventure (HDI)
