Interesting Day at Lukeville US Entry

There I was crossing into the USA in the second lane from the building and the lane was too narrow by about 3 inches. I got past the passport card reader but couldn't get any farther. Fortunately the toad was full of tools so I got a socket wrench out, loosened the bolt that secures the mirror arm and rotated them in front of the windshield and drove on in.

There sure are lots of scrapes on those poles from vehicles banging into them.

It's the first time I took the Monaco through, I'll be sure to carry the tools the next time. The only other option was to disconnect the toad, back out & try another lane.

It used to be that way but they remodeled. :M

I think they remodel every year.

That new crossing is a joke the way they have it set up. Crossing back into the US there is the worst part of the trip.

Glad you were able to get yourself through.
