Planning my route to Glenrock WY for the eclipse. Don't want to take I-25 north out of Cheyenne. Can any one provide information on route north our of Laramie to Medicine Bow and then up to Casper? ...

On Hwy 34 Bosler to Wheatland, for the first 10 miles (approximately) on the Bosler end, the road surface was not very good the last time I was on it (about a month ago). Outside of that, the road is a good road on a scenic route through Sybille Canyon. There are quite a few curves and steep hills but I have driven it with both a 5th wheel and a truck camper with no problems. Traffic is normally light, but I don't know what it will be like close to eclipse time.
