I am very happy to read this as the last time I visited about 35 years ago this was not the case. Residents were unfriendly and refused to speak English at all. They laughed at my attempt to speak French-and not in a good way. I was quite surprised as my dealings with the Maritime provinces had been very different. Time to visit again!
