Lexington KY to Champaign, IL

I want to go from Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington to just north of Champaign, IL. Seems to be two major options:

I-75N to Cincinnati, I-275 around to the west and then I-74 to Champaign.

I-64 to Louisville, I-65 N to Indianapolis, I-74 West to Champaign.

Google Maps directions indicate 313 miles, 4:37 ET for both.

Anyone know road/traffic conditions of these two routes and which would be best? F250 towing 30' Fifth Wheel.

I65 in IN. Is one ruff road. Just ran it last week south.

Generally speaking, they're pretty similar and should pose no problems. I would be inclined to take the Louisville route, and have on several occasions. Biggest problem might be L'ville area itself, but poses no major problem in general, outside of rush hour. I DO NOT know if there is construction, etc. currently, but have taken both routes in years past. Major construction on one or the other might change my mind.

The former route is the one I'd choose and I live just south of Lexington near I-75 too.
