Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Planning for next year and wondering if anyone on the forum has ever done the parade while camping near NYC. If so any ideas or suggestions for a successful trip?

Liberty Harbor RV in Jersey City is the closest CG to NYC. It is open all year. Just about every CG in the NYC area closes in October.
I work in NYC and did the parade 14years ago when my kids were small and never again. The weather is unpredictable and the crowds are the most you will see in NYC on any given day.
